Longevity isn’t luck. It’s engineered through strength, metabolic health, and intentional training.

At Summit Sports Lab, longevity means more than lifespan—it means adventure span: the ability to hike, bike, ski, run, and explore for decades with confidence and capacity.
Our goal: Help you live the fullest, strongest, longest adventure-driven life possible.

What is Longevity Testing?

Longevity Testing at SSL is a multi-system evaluation that measures:

  • How well you utilize oxygen and fuel

  • How efficiently you produce and clear lactate

  • Your total-body strength & mobility standards

  • Your durability and movement quality

  • Your metabolic flexibility and crossover points

  • Your risk factors for joint wear, breakdown, or early fatigue

We combine performance science + physical therapy + nutrition + physiology to deliver a long-term roadmap—not just a quick screenshot of fitness.

Why Longevity Matters (Especially at Altitude)

Life at 9,000 feet demands more from the body:

  • More oxygen efficiency

  • More strength to stabilize joints

  • More recovery capacity

  • More metabolic resilience

Mountain living accelerates wear on athletes who aren’t prepared—and supercharges those who are.

TRACK WHAT'S WORKING

Longevity Testing Includes:

Metabolic & Threshold Testing

Understand how your body fuels work and fatigue:

  • VO₂ testing to assess fat vs. carbohydrate usage

  • Metabolic crossover and efficiency analysis

  • Optional lactate threshold testing to define sustainable intensity

Ideal for endurance athletes focused on longevity and burnout-free progress.

Strength & Mobility Longevity Standards

We evaluate you against modern, evidence-based longevity benchmarks:

  • Strength and mobility standards linked to long-term function

  • DPT-led movement quality assessment (gait, squat, hinge, lunge, push/pull, loaded patterns)

  • Identification of inefficiencies that increase injury risk over time

Lifestyle, Recovery & Nutrition Review

(Optional: with Dr. Cindy Dallow, PhD, RD, CPT)

Because longevity isn’t built in the gym alone.

  • Daily fueling and protein targets

  • Recovery and metabolic health strategies

  • Supplementation and in-training fueling guidance

Personalized Longevity Report + Roadmap

Delivered as a clean, actionable PDF, including:

  • Your metabolic profile

  • Strength/movement benchmarks

  • Longevity risk factors

  • 4–10 top priorities

  • Daily & weekly training recommendations

  • Suggestions for progression over 3–12 months

This roadmap becomes the foundation of your training future.
